At 30°F (mild freeze):
- Monitor the situation if power loss is brief (1-2 hours)

At 29°F or below – If power loss is over (1-2 hours):
- Immediately turn off the main breaker to all pool equipment
- Remove drain plugs from:
- Pumps
- Filters Heaters
- Sanitation systems
- Remove and drain the salt cell in saltwater systems
- Document all steps taken for insurance purposes
